I am in the process of creating a dedicated LEGO studio in my attic, designed to be both a functional workspace and an inspiring environment for my LEGO projects. At the heart of this studio will be a large custom table, serving as the foundation for my growing LEGO city. This table provides ample space for roads, buildings, and other city elements, allowing me to continuously expand and refine my cityscape.
In addition to the city table, I have a separate building table specifically for assembling LEGO sets and working on custom MOCs. This workspace is well-lit and thoughtfully arranged to ensure a comfortable and creative building experience. It gives me the freedom to work on smaller builds without interfering with the layout of my city.
To keep everything organized, I’ve installed multiple wall-mounted organizers for sorting bricks, accessories, and minifigures. I also use a dedicated drawer system for storing my personal LEGO parts collection, making it easy to quickly find the pieces I need. This system helps me stay focused on building, with everything within reach and neatly categorized.
For completed sets, I use IKEA cabinets to display them in an attractive and dust-free way. These cabinets also serve as extra storage for instructions, baseplates, and other LEGO-related materials.
My goal is to create a well-structured and inspiring studio that balances creativity, organization, and functionality. With separate areas for display, building, and storage, this attic space is turning into the ideal environment for developing and expanding Brickhof City.
